A sensory garden is a natural space designed to gently support the senses—through colours, textures, scents, and sounds. These spaces are for everyone, but can be especially helpful for people who experience the world a little differently, including those with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, or sensory processing challenges.
Sensory gardens encourage slow, hands-on learning and connection. They can support emotional regulation, sensory development, communication, movement, and overall well-being—simply by creating a space where people feel safe to explore and be themselves.
At Sensoria, we intentionally design these gardens with care—using natural materials, local plants, and a deep understanding of how outdoor spaces can support people’s needs. Our goal is to create places that feel good to be in—calm, welcoming, and grounded in nature.
If you’re curious about creating a space like this, we’re here to chat when you’re ready.
